While using the stool part of the carrier constantly secure your child with one or both of your hands. If the child is more active check their position on the stool more often as they can slide down from it.

While using the full carrier be aware that infants can fall trough the leg openings or out of carrier. Be very careful when adjusting the carrier and  leaning. While bending, bend at knees. Infants under 4 months of age (or premature babies) can suffocate in the carrier so it is recommended to use above 4 months old of age. Do not strap infant too tight and always allow room for head movement.
